About My Artwork
For this exhibition, I will be presenting a series of three pieces titled "The Trip." These works were created in 2021, during a period when I began experimenting with a challenging yet fascinating medium: Yupo synthetic paper. Unlike traditional watercolor paper, Yupo is man-made and not derived from trees. This unique paper does not absorb colors like cotton watercolor paper. Instead, the colors sit on the surface, creating vibrant, rippling effects and unique outcomes.
Controlling this medium can be quite challenging, as the colors can easily move and reactivate with water. However, this unpredictability is what makes Yupo synthetic paper so intriguing and rewarding to work with. I am excited to share the results of my exploration with this medium through "The Trip."
Exhibition Opening Hours
Mondays to Saturdays: 6:00 AM - Noon
Sundays: 7:00 AM - Noon
